Karen Grammer
Karen is a Kentucky native who began her legal working experience in estate and trust planning at a preeminent law firm in Lexington, Kentucky 30 years ago. As she gained experience and knowledge in this specialized legal practice, she was promoted from legal secretary to paralegal, giving Karen the opportunity to draft documents, retitle assets and prepare estate tax returns.
Karen and her husband, Don, moved to Florida in 2001 to remove themselves from the ice and snow during the winter and be closer to extended family. As the years have gone by, Karen transitioned to working in probate and trust administration, along with guardianships. Now a Florida Registered Paralegal, Karen tries her best to comfort clients who have lost loved ones and help make the probate and trust administration process as painless and efficient as possible.
Karen attended the University of Louisville School of Music as a music education/performance major in French horn. She and Don, who also plays French horn, have performed in numerous orchestras and concert bands in both Kentucky and Florida. They also have performed as pick up musicians for touring artists, including The Irish Tenors, Roberta Flack, Black Violin and Canadian Brass. Karen and Don are currently performing with the North Port Symphony, Illyrian Symphony Orchestra in Sarasota, and Dunedin Concert Band.
Karen and Don have two daughters and two grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, both fresh and salt water fishing and watching the beautiful sunsets over the Gulf.
